Title: Code Black - Pitch Blue
Post by: AlonzoHarris on January 02, 2018, 03:17:44 PM
Both pulled from the Storm site. I knew the Code Black was going this month. I always wondered how much life the Pitch Blue had left.

I assume Torrent will be pulled soon as Luke has indicated it's on it's way out.

I question why the Snap Lock is still on there though.

Could care less about the Code series but never like to see a pearl urethane ball disappear from the market.  Probably the opposite to most people.

I punched up a Code Black hoping for a strong skid-flip motion and it has not lived up to what I thought it would be.  On the advice of the OP of this thread ("the Code Black takes surface changes well"), I plan on hitting it with a 2000 grit pad to see if I can salvage something from it.  If that doesn't do the trick, it's on the short list to be donated.

A ball that is definitely worth giving a surface change or two before giving up on. It is only R2S Pearl on it, so depending on every variable that goes into it, it might not have had a chance to flip over. Or, being that it is a hella strong core, it could have been losing too much energy.

One or two hell I am going to try nearly every surface possible before I give up on a ball (spinner is a must for every serious bowler).  Even going to try at least 2 drillings as my POS Stealth Bomber is learning right now.
