Code Red vs Dare Devil Trick
« on: November 05, 2017, 03:59:11 PM »
I've decided to go all in on Storm/Roto. I'm shooting lights out with my Phaze II, and was watching the Intense at a tournament today... Wow.

Trying to decide certain spots in the bag right now, most notably step down from the Phaze II. If I were to compare the DDT and Code Red, I'm thinking CR is a touch longer with more continuation. I've also heard it's better straight up the boards, which is my A game.

Comparison feedback appreciated!

I have the C/R-you can play straighter with it as long as the back ends have some oil because if it hits dry it will move to much. I have better success playing more of a tweener shot with the C/R.
There's two kinds of music METAL and bullshit!

DDT for more oil/even continuous motion, CR for moving in, and more down lane motion, chasing the shot in, better transition ball.

If I only the CR and DDT to chose from as a step down from the Phaze 2, I would choose the CR because of the surface and overall difference from the Phaze 2.  The DDT is too similar to the Phaze 2 for any kind of step down or differential.

Another ball to think about would be the Marvel Pearl.  I roll with the Phaze 2 and Marvel Pearl, and I can handle almost any situation that I come across with that 1-2 combo.
