Buying it!

In the states???
-
I was told there would be one later in the year, not in June. But needless to say, ill add to my collection.
-
In the states???
Good question. Is anyone able to answer it?
-
It is a US release
-
I wonder if this is the ball that is coming to the US....

Yes

I have great solids (Alpha Crux and IQ Tour solid) and lots of Pearls, but I don't have a hybrid in my arsenal since I sold my Hy-Road. Looks like the Code Red will be great compliment to my Code Black and a must have.

That vid makes the Code Red look absolutely impressive. Compared to the Sync Perfect and the Marvel Q they show, I like the reaction of the Code Red the best, then the Sync, then the Marvel Q. I'm considering pre-ordering the re-issued Marvel Pearl, but this may make me get the Code Red instead. Nice looking ball also.

What would fit better with my timeless Code red or code black? What's best for heavier oil?
-
I would guess the Code Red with the R2S Hybrid will be a little better in heavier oil than the Code Black with the R2S Pearl.
Anyone thing a Solid version of the Code series will be released?

Don't know. Only 2 of the 10 or so Code balls had a solid cover. Code Red SP had R3S solid and Code Blue SP had NRG
-
Code Black Ltd and Code Red Ltd both had NRG solid covers. I have the CB Ltd and just waiting for my Code Red Ltd, should be next week.
-
Am I the only one who thought a solid Release should have happened?
I know the sure lock just came out, but I think we're on pearl overlap...
-
Would love to see a R4S or an ERG cover on a Code ball.
-
Is it fair to say that this ball will react similar to a 16 lb Hy-Road (2.52 .058) except for all of the heavier weights? The asymmetry of course should provide a more dynamic shape and tip in theory.

The Code Black is so much stronger than a Hy-Road Pearl and IQ Tour Pearl. I could see this ball being stronger than the Hy-Road and Timeless because it's breaking out of the skid phase a lot earlier with the stronger core. So the Code Red is going to be revving a lot stronger when it exits the pattern, especially with a stronger assymetric layout.
That's what I see in relation of Code Black -> IQ 30 -> Victory Road Pearl (All R2S Pearl)
I could see in terms of overall hook it going, Code Red -> Timeless -> HyRoad
-
Anyone else drilling their Red the same as their Black and letting the cover be the only difference?

Yes I think I will do that. My pin up code black is great when the lanes start to open. I would think the Red would be a few boards stronger..

That's exactly how the balls would be rated in terms of overall hook.

Since most storm hybrids are usually 2/3, 1/3 does anyone know if it's 2/3 solid or 2/3 pearl???
-
I think the point that I was getting at was misunderstood, but that's okay. Where are you getting this 2/3 and 1/3 blend hybrid stuff from?
