Title: Code X
Post by: AlonzoHarris on March 04, 2019, 10:17:28 PM
I have a few games on my Code X now. All I can say is what an excellent rolling ball for me. It definitely lets you know when you’ve ran out of oil, pocket 7-10, but till then I was lovin’ it. Blends my local house shot nicely. Interested to see what I get out of it on some sport patterns.

Nothing much else here, just felt like throwing some love it's way since it sort of got back-seated to the Idol.

Kyle Troup loves this ball too. It seems like the logical step up from the IQ Tour when the IQ isn't quite enough off the spot, or wrapping tens. It seems like a great "Tournament ball" on many patterns. Most "patterns" will have enough head oil to get this ball up the lane, the core revs really fast in the mids, and with the cover not being super duper strong, you can shape the lane left to right and get a great look going up the boards as well without a big "jump" off the spot.

Spot on!

I keep mine at 1000. One of the strongest and most even hooking balls I've thrown. Ball doesn't stop.
