Need a new ball..Fringe?
« on: September 28, 2012, 03:14:12 PM »
Hey guys, I'm in need of a ball I can use when the lanes begin to break down that will get down lane and have a strong back end reaction. I'm thinking as of now that the fringe is looking like a good candidate. What do you guys think of the ball?

You can go wrong with either.  Fire road will be a touch more on the back.

the victory road has more proven versatility and success. I have the fireroad and i rarely use it. nothing against it but i have better carry and more forgiveness with the victory road pearl....

The Fire Road has a stronger cover, so you should expect a smoother overall motion.

The Fire Road is slowly growing on me. It handles a good amount of oil on the medium side and is very strong in the back for me. I wasn't keen on it at first as it was too slow off the spot, but a little 4000 to the factory shined cover and it was like I just drilled another ball.

You could also consider the Shatter in the Roto line. A little less diff than the Fire Road which helps is bleed off less energy in the front and make a nice stronger move in the back
