Cleaning a VG
« on: March 26, 2009, 01:53:03 AM »
I got a bottle of Storm Reacta Cleaner with my VG from bowlingball.com and wondered if it cleans better than Lane masters cleaner. I use the Lane masters with my spinner and it sure gets the oil and belt marks off.

Any advice is appreciated.

Shipper, is it the reacta shine or the reacta clean? Because the reacta clean is water based and the reacta shine is more of a paste, with some polish in it and it works really well for cleaning dirt off the balls surface and plus it leaves a nice tacky feel afterwards. Hope that helps Now if you want a really good cleaner for sanded surfaces, try Ebonites clean n dull, that is a gell and deep cleans, but leaves the surface still in a dull state.

Clean and dull leaves the ball extremely tacky!

I recommend rolling it up and down your driveway several times, puts the bite right back in the coverstock.

Seriously...Clean and Dull is the best cleaner for every 15 games or so to get the deep stuff out... for bowling after sets there are many that will do a great job of cleaning 3 games of grime or you can use L/LM and asphyxiate yourself!
