Crux Prime vs Halo
« on: February 12, 2019, 07:35:22 AM »
Can any staffers, or anyone with the knowledge chime in on this one?  Are they similar?  Is having both a waste?
What would I see with same layout on both balls in box surface?

I bowl in both a sport league and a house wall league.

Thanks !!

I'll answer this myself....

On 40ft (i think) Stonehenge ..

The 2 balls are nothing alike for me.  The Halo is more suited to straighter angles and needs tons of oil in front to have a chance. I have had luck with the Halo on 48ft Great Wall of China but not so on the current shot we are on.  The Crux Prime is a total beast.  It seems to be more versatile.  I was surprised by the amount of recovery the ball has considering I was using it at box finish.  I found it to compliment the Physix very well.

Both balls were at their box surface (2000).

Beer League covered it, way different balls, and I'll just say ditto to what he said because that's exactly my experience also.
