Storm has "owned" the bowling ball market for a while now. They just keep climbing and producing better and better equipment. So I am posting this thread just to talk about storm and see what balls you have liked since 2008. My top five favorite balls since 2008 in order from most to least are the VE, Frantic, victory road pearl, hyroad, and marvel. list what you have liked the most since 2008

Damn nearly EVERYONE has a Hy-Road!! I think I better go get one as soon as I possibly can, could be one of the greatest balls of all time that I'm passing up on.

Anyway my best top 5 out of the 7 storm balls I have goes something like this:

T-Road Pearl
Marvel Pearl
Victory Road Pearl
Natural
IQ Tour Pearl

Currently in the bag, IQ Tour Pearl, Marvel Pearl, Victory Road Pearl, Natural.

Yes I love pearl cover stock equipment, solid cover stocks are just too aggressive for my tastes, I love hybrid cover stocks as well.

Strangely I've never owned either the original VG or the Hy-Road, arguably Storm's greatest releases. I guess I'll probably pick up a Hy-Road before the end of the season since I need a new hybrid in my bag.

Storm's best ball for me was the X-Factor...though the Roto Grip Cell is on the level of the best of their releases.

Hyroad (over 4 years old, still loving it for dry lanes)
Natural (great for sparing and bone dry lanes, its urethane so no worries on lifespan!)

My current arsenal which i love.. allows me to play almost all conditions!

I think I'm one of the very few that hated the hyroad and Vg.  My 2 favorites are the Gravity Shift and VE.  I would kill to find another Gravity shift, as mine is too cracked out to fix anymore.  I tries a fire road as a close replacement, but even with a great core and cover, it just doesn't compare.  The VE to me has always been underrated.  It's always in my bag and has bailed me out many times.  The shape lock core was certainly a home run for Hank.  I'm curious to see how the new variation of it turns out.  The numbers will probably scare some people away, thinking that it will be too strong.

I just picked up another Virtual Energy off Ebay.  I would buy a couple more 16lb NIB if I could find them.  Best Asymmetric from Storm so far in my opinion...with Nano being second...but I can't wait to try the Sync.

I have only owned 4 storm balls- El Nino 2000, XXX Factor, Nano Pearl, IQ pearl tour.  I have 30 games or so in the IQ now, but already have 4 700's, a 300 and a 298...The Nano Pearl has been a rock for 10 months too, have had some big sets with it..El Nino still has a place in my bag sometimes, and until the Cell line, was clearly the best ball I had bought. Throw the Cells in and my rankings go like this probably:

XXX Factor
Cell solid (kept cracking, scored well)
El Nino 2000
Cell Pearl
Rogue Cell
Nano Pearl
IQ Tour Pearl...hopefully with enough staying power to stay #1..
