disappointment with the IQ Tour

am I the only one not pleased with the IQ Tour? imo this ball does not carry well at all.  I tried using it at box finish and the ball picked up too early for me and forced me deeper than I wanted to be and carry suffered...so I put a little polish on the ball and it gave me more length. the extra length allowed me to play further right, however, when I tried to be clean with my release I left ringing 10s and blower 7s.  if I got on the ball a little it was 4s and 9s.  im disappointed in this $180 paperweight.

For higjer rev bowlers, this ball is great for long medium heavy oil patterns and short heavy oil patterns. When drilled correctly, this ball can be really special on almost anything. When not, it's almost useless. Id say this ball is useless on house patterns unless there are higher volumes

Had this guy on my team a few weeks ago throw the last 19 of the night throwing one 22 out to 12 and it was at 1000 abralon and he is not a higher rev rate guy.  I would say he is a tweener at best.  However, he has alot of axis rotation and is very accurate.

I agree with the assessment to add a weight hole down in the P3 position.  Start with a smaller weight hole and try it first.  Then make it bigger until you get the desired reaction.

The thing I found out with the iq tour solid and pearl if you drill it weak it will over and under if you are not on the right condition. Putting a hole down makes a tremendous amount of difference in the way the ball rolls. I done that to both of these balls and it turned a crappy look into a great rolling ball. Also, don't be afraid to tweak the surface to get it rolling a little quicker on the lane.
