My wrist is feeling a lot better since my hand was refitted, so I am going to get the rest of my equipment that I usually throw redrilled with new span. I currently have a sinister drilled for a lot of back end when I have to move inside (drilled weak to conserve energy for back end,) the original forza for an early and controllable ball, and a pitch black. Will the hyroad and forza have too much overlap, even if I sand it to 1000 grit? Really considering the Ride, but I never have thrown a hyroad

It should actually be a really nice complement to those other three balls without changing the surface of it or the Forza. That goes for either the original Hy-Road or the pearl version. The Ride (or Joy Ride) would fit too if you wanted to go with something weaker.

How close are the ride and pitch black? I honestly think I would get a ton of use out of it in one house I bowl at

Even with a Low RG, stable layout, the Ride and Pitch Black are different. I tend to use both around 1000 and the Ride just naturally pushes more.

Pitch Black is earlier with less overall hook. Ride is pretty smooth overall but can have a bit of pop in the backend when it gets to the dry boards whereas the Pitch Black does not. Pretty good combo to have underneath your Hyroad/Forza for the late blocks.

Jlee, that is exactly what I was looking for in an answer! Thank you!

The hyroad will fit in nicely in-between your forza and ride..
