Title: Domination Surface Change
Post by: high_revs on January 19, 2007, 02:17:47 AM
I'm impressed with my new Domination.  Huge backend with the ball (with oob finish).  Question, on lanes with fresh/clean backends, i want to tame the backend down a bit.  Should i take the polish off, sand to 1000?  or polish it with extender polish (with slipping agent)? thanks

try 4000 grit. 1000 will probably be a little to early for what your looking for. but the 4000 surface gets down the lane very well for being dull, but at the same time it evens out the reaction off of the dry, with roughly the same strenght overall.

I agree 4000 or even 2000. 1000 turns the ball into a beast, especially in the mids.

I would agree with the 4000, but I would try 2000 and it that is still too much backend, then go up with 4000.

BOWLING IS FUN NO MATTER WHAT YOU SCORE. BUT A 300 IS ALWAYS NICE.

STRIKE ZONE, ONSLAUGHT & PYRO. STAND 22 AND THROW 10 OUT TO 5 AND CRUSH THE POCKET. AT LEAST THAT IS THE PLAN OF THE NIGHT...

GOOD LUCK AND GOOD BOWLING!!!
