Triple X Factor - Not much hook for me?
« on: March 13, 2005, 02:31:01 AM »
Hi, I just posted a review of my short use with the Triple X Factor.  Perhaps some people could advise me on what I'm doing wrong?  I don't want to sand my ball because I like how it skids along until the back.  I just thought the ball would turn hard at the back, rather than make a slight change of direction to the left.  Perhaps my style of going along the right side differs with that of those professional bowlers who go from left to right?  Let me know how I can increase hook on the ball without compromising the skid quality.  Perhaps I just need time to build up strength on my fingers/wrist.

first off, what type of bowler are you? Speed? Revs? If the ball is not hooking enough you have a few options. 1) Move farther right and play straighter or 2)even though you dont want to, sand the ball to handle more oil. It wont hook as much on the backend, but will hook more overall. (It will be more of an arc though)
