Electrify Hybrid
« on: July 08, 2020, 09:51:15 PM »
The Electrify hybrid is the second part of Storm’s new low end line. It features the all new Circuit Core and is wrapped with the Reactor Hybrid cover. It is hard not to compare the Electrify Hybrid to the Electrify Pearl since they both are being released at the same time. The Electrify Hybrid  forced me a few boards further left with my feet from where I was standing with the Electrify Pearl. To me, the Hybrid is everything the Pearl is not. The Electrify Hybrid has a sleek look to it with the Black/Silver and Neon Red colors where the Pearl has the bright pink and blue. It is a pinch smoother overall because of the Hybrid coverstock. This will be a ball for players that want a cleaner motion, but don’t want that uncontrollable downlane reaction. I think the Electrify Hybrid bridges the gap nicely between an Electrify Pearl and say any of the !Qs. Im not afraid to say that if you cracked the shell with a 1000 or 2000 pad, this ball could handle a lot more oil. If left at box finish or near box, it will be perfect for drier house shots and will get a ton of play at the end of a long tournament block. Much like the Electrify Pearl, the Electrify Hybrid will be friendly to players with higher rev rates on the drier conditions along with players who are looking to stay to the outside of the rest of the field. I didn’t mention this in the first video but upon reflection, I think this line of balls will be perfect for people who are looking to learn how to hook a ball or want that step above plastic/entry level. You really get a Big Bang for your buck here.
