Title: Erase it VS. ER
Post by: bowler0821 on May 08, 2003, 04:54:33 AM
I would like to know how the Erase it stands up in reaction and every thing to the ER because I had a ER and loved it going to buy another one later but I have a friend that might give me a erase it so I want to know what people think of this ball and how it compares to the er since they have the same coverstock. Please let me know.

I have had both balls for about a year and a half now. I have both drilled the same with a 5x5 drill and the mass bias in the strong position. I have both polished with black magic polish in the black bottle. I find the erase-it will pick up when the lanes get too dry for the ER.  They mirror each other in movement. I can move back to where I started the night and throw the erase-it and get the same reaction I had in the first game with the ER.

ok Coach so you think that if I drill up a erase it the same as my ER I should have a ball with the reaction just like my ER but for the erase it. Wouldn't the core make a difference and which one hooks more and is better for oil?

The ER reads the mids a better than the erase-it, both are fine balls that will cover a lot of boards.

To my eye I have always thought they were nearly the same in the amount of oil they could handle but that the ER had a more angular backend while the Erase-it was more even.

Erase it = Strong medium heavy ball, Trauma ER = stronger medium heavy.

REgards,

PS note ER is a mass bias ball Erase it = symmetrical.
