Of all time. Only naming one.

Hands down...the El Nino Xit.

Hard hitting, big hook, but it was all arc, which is very controllable.

Strange .. most posters seem to think that OLDER STORM balls are the best .. is there a reason? I have 3 Storms an older RECOVERY and 2 newer .. X-FACTOR/CHARGE .. I'm still undecided as to which is THE BEST .. the more games I get on them .. the LESS I LIKE ALL THREE! Guess they don't fit my style!!!!!!

Several come to mind but my fav was the Eraser, ball gave me the same look for who knows how many games and still hit/hooked like it did day one. The original EL Nino was another great one, my first "high performance" ball. Too bad the guy in the pro shop drilled it wrong for me and I sold it cause it was great. For heavy oil, I also go with the X-it, ball chews through oil and hits hard every time. Thrown many high games up in the floods when others were struggling to hit the head pin.

Oh man, the Super Power Pearl was money.  SO was the firepower.  I remember being 16 in my second year of bowling and all of a sudden I had the first nine with my firepower.  I was so scared I crossed over, demolished the rack still then left a flush 9 pin on the 11th ball since that ball had so much backend.  Made it for 289.

Oh yeah, but to answer your question....El Nino 2000.  No ball was more versatile for me ever.

Original El-Nino. Second place to the Pacific Storm. I think I am one of the few who really liked this ball. It would cover more boards in a shorter distance than anything I have ever thrown. It was also the best carrying ball on good hits I have ever had.

Blue Hot

Most neutral, predictable dry lane ball I've ever thrown.

Joe Falco - People are posting older STORMS because they were very forgiving and less conditional. Of course, they probably weren't using the same volume of oil as now.

My pick: Blue Thunder; 300 first set I used it followed closely by the Fire and Forest; awesome versatility.

MR SB .. I guess you're right .. I have three STORM balls .. A RECOVERY (figure that would be OLDER), the X-FACTOR and the CHARGE .. I like all of them with NO PARTICULAR FAVORITE!
