I have used Storm/Roto Grip for over 10 years now and just wondering what others feel was their favorite ball from Storm. Mine is the Hyroad. I think this ball is so versitle because of the hybrid cover and core combo. At one time after this ball came out, my six ball line-up included 4 hyroads with different drillings and surfaces. I had one Strong ball above them and one weak ball below. This line-up got me some very good scores and places in tournements.

The X-Factor line for me. I have in the bag right now the X-Factor, Ace and XXX-Factor I even have 3 X-Factors ready to punch up if something happens to the one in the bag.

I have to agree that the erasers were great balls.
-
dont really have "one favorite"....but really loved the eraser and trauma ER i had years ago!!!
-
El nino x-it by far the best I have used.
-
Sky Bolt and Sure Fire
-
Still the T-road pearl...Virtual Gravity has impressed me but I loved the reaction of my T-road so much I bought a second.

I think my favorite Storm ball was the Thunder Road, or the Vertigo. It is quite possible that the Reign of Fire will rise above the other two in time.
-
the hyroad didn't really do it for me, way to conditional. I really am loving my dimension, and my invasion.
-
Paradigm Domination..followed closely by the Super Charge
-
its not even close. hands down the Tour Power

T-Road solid... Have had 3 of them.. then T-road pearl... but the Reign of Fire is becoming my new benchmark with the way it is rolling

-
I absolutley love my gravity shift, first ball out of the bag. My pyro was good until it cracked, debating on getting another to fill the void
-
Virtual Energy for me. Reign of Fire a close second.

The original gravity shift was definitely one of my favorites. Very versatile in oil and in broken down conditions. The carry was on a level of its own. I also had a ton of success with a thunderstruck pearl.
-
Either the Fired Up or Hyroad two of the best go to balls I've ever had

I did like the VE but for me it was really shot conditional. I'm not sure if it was the layout or what, but I even tried different surfaces on it. The only thing I used mine for was on the Viper pattern once you started getting carrydown, but my Cell Pearl worked better for this once I got it.

Gotta go with the Triple X Factor Xtreme. This is still my benchmark ball, and also does a great job on a broken down pair when pearlized stuff is just diving at the headpin, it gets through the heads, and it smooths out the reaction downlane with enough energy to go through the pindeck.
Close second would by my pearlized teal and purple tropical storm. I have bowled both of my 800's using this ball, one on fresh, one on a second shift and this ball is amazing, especially at the price point.

The NATURAL is a two hander's best friend. Recently was forced to use this on a condition and am beginning to understand why this ball is so good.

Me I like my Storm
1. Reign

From the past I would say it's a toss up between the Firepower, Eraser and X-Factor are the best from the past.
The current line? I'd opt for the Hyroad.

The Special Agent was probably my favorite Storm ball ever. That ball rolled so true and went through the pins so well for me and I could use it on anything. I also loved the T-Road Pearl. I have also drilled 2 Hyroads and I love them.

had a had a few year lay off from being able to throw storm and roto grip being on ebonite staff for three years. Missed some good pieces. But mine so far is the hy road. I have drilled up a virtual energy and dark star and love them both
--------------------
Words of advise. Limiting your self to just one company is never smart. Get proven balls out on the market. Global, Storm inc, Ebonite international, er what ever it may be.

without a doubt the X-factor Vertigo. I got about 500 games on this ball its been resurfaced about 4 times. Only reason I stopped using it was because everybody used to make fun of me throwing a ball the said "rti" and "or" on the side because the label had been sanded off almost completely. I could throw this ball today and it would still demolish the pins lol
-
Shift & Attitude Shift. I have a Reign & VG that I've been starting to use a little more lately, though, so I can see them easily becoming my favorites.

From the Storm balls I had, the Trauma was my favorite. I'd love to have another one NIB, or an Accu-Tread Pearl ball with a more modern but stong core inside. The ball's reaction was strong and smooth, and pin carry very impressive.

Virtual Energy and Spit Fire.

For me right now my favorites would have to be a:
1. Erazer blaze
2. X-factor reloaded
3. paradigm passion
My blaze revs up like the hy-road and is smooth but strong on medium patters, my x-factor reloaded goes a little longer and hauls rear on the backend...lol.. and my paradigm passion revs up slightly further down the lane as it is pin up and has a very strong hook on the back end.
