El Nino

I know this is an old ball but I know where I can get a used one from for pretty cheap.  Does anyone remember this ball and if so does the cover hold up pretty good or does it die?  Is it worth even bothering with?

I've had mine since they were released way back when and its still my favorite ball.  It has not lost a bit of reaction that I can see from when it was new.  You might want to check ebay as I have seen several posted there.

Thanks.  I just bought one and was curious as to how it held up.  I got it for $20 bucks.

I loved that ball back in the late 90's. The only reason I got rid of it cause it was a 14. It saved me on the times I encountered heavy oil and the balls I had at the time were a Danger Zone, Speed Demon Zone and a Hammer 3-D offset. I was fascinated with the ball in 98 when I saw two PBA crankers for my first time that were part of the Storm staff. They were Robert Smith and Brian Himmler. Not only amazed with thier cranker ability but noticing they both had the same shirt and throwing the same ball. After that the next weekend I raced to the pro shop and they had the El Nino on the front counter display. They had a 14 and told them I wanted it to hook early. It was a great ball.
