Flashpoint, this may be my new favorite ball.
« on: August 04, 2004, 10:55:13 AM »
Had watched a local hot lefty use this as almost his only ball for the past year.

REally tearing them up.

So I looked at his ball and because he's a big hitter and I'm a medium big hitter  I copied his drilling with a 1/2 inch stronger (shorter) pin to pap.

I'm getting the same beautiful reaction that he's been getting.  This ball is a control ball but a hitter.!!!

I'll explain in a full review in the next few days.  The control of my beloved Sledgehammer with almost the hit of my Ego!

Oh Boy!

Lefty....
If I'm not mistaken,....you've "loved" or were "really impressed" with the last few Storm balls you've tried....is that telling you something ?

Sort of, but I've also had a lot of storm's I haven't liked.

This is uniquely different from anything i've thrown before.

Including other storm stuff.

I'll explain in detail in a review.

Not today.

Actually, haven't seen a ball that Lefty hasn't loved ....

Really,

Hmmmmmm, I have had quite a few dogs or balls that don't suit my local condition now that I've relocated.

Most disliked balls.

Fuze Purple pearl
Monster Frenzy
RIght not not impressed at all with the Silver Streak Pearl(can you believe that)? surface adjustments coming.
Cure
AMF Nighthawk Menace(worst ball ever)
Storm heavy oil hook El Nino X-it
Columbia Extreme chaos.
Storm Power charge pearl, (worked one day for me and I reviewed and then never worked again).

There've been a few!  and then some.

LuckyLefty I read your review, and the Flashpoint sounds alot like the Messenger Ti except that it has a pearl cover. It has the same specs but you
beening a lefty can understanding "I don't like pearl balls. Will this ball
give me some hold and not be to jumpy on the backend? I really would like to
replace my oil soaked Messenger Ti. It sounds perfect for the medium light
conditions that I've been running into lately. Could you tell/show me where
the pin and cg locations are on your ball. I usually like my pin a little
below the finger. Thanks
