t-road solid on high volume of oil
« on: October 02, 2009, 03:24:16 AM »
I know the t-road is not a ball meant for this.  I want to try something new that I don't have in my current lineup.  All of my equip is 5"+ pin-to-pap on high-end (low rg, high diff) equip.  This seems to be the best position(s) due to my rev rate and tilt.  I flare a lot on these layouts.  I wanted to try a weaker ball with a STRONG pin position.  Has anyone used this ball with a 3 3/8" or 4" and had good success on higher volumes of oil?  How did it react VS a VG or Dimension with a longer pin-pap?

Hey Drew,

I had a stronger pin position on one of mine and got a good read on higher volumes of oil. Granted at the time I had a Special Agent that this type of condition was more in it's wheelhouse, the T-road worked since it was the same coverstock (R2S).

One of the amazing things about the T-Road solid was the versatility. I could shine it or scuff it and find a wide use for it.

I'm at holiday on sunday's and they're flooding it up pretty good. I don't usually like low rg/high diff w/ stronger pins than 5"+.  I think taking a weaker ball and putting a strong pin position would be the key.
