Finally retiring my Dimension. Been a while since I've been on here. Curious what yall think was comparable. Still throwing and loving the gravity shift. Need something above when they are a bit oily.

I replaced mine with the marvel solid..but thats not around anymore..i would love to say the iq solid..but i am yet to throw one...

I picked up a outlaw for 85 bux on clearance on bowlingball.com and it is surprisingly strong...it doesnt give me the hook shape i love with the dimension continuum core..but its damn close!  it gets down the lane, and makes a strong move like the dimension, the marvel was "rolly", i feel the outlaw is the closest replacement for it...the outlaw reminds me more of the dimension than the marvel did..for sure.

You could always try that new disturbed roto grip ball...the core has some twists to it ...kinda like the dimension had.

I'd second a Marvel Solid if you can get one.  I switched my Dimension for a Marvel Solid and there is very little difference.  I assume an IQ will be similar but I've only seen it rolled - I haven't thrown it myself.

No way! :) lol the dimension made a bigger move at the breakpoint! The marvel was wasnt as jumpy but was more controllable!..haha for me anyways!

Bill, I've heard the same from others as well.  It may be that I drilled both my control drill (5x3) pin up and it is my fresh oil 'up the back' ball.  The difference for me is that the Marvel turns a bit earlier and a little less backend reaction.  Overall they seem to cover about the same boards for me with that difference.
