Going back to Storm!
« on: June 22, 2006, 05:38:26 AM »
By the end of August, I will have ALL Storm. Im currently looking into some old balls I use to love, and some new ones that I think I will love.

Heres what Im thinking:

Passion (OOB at 500 and should I go with this one Stacked or Label?)
Vertigo (Sanded at 1000 Stacked)
Ace
Pyro
Fired Up
Flash Force
Hotrod Hybrid
?????Hotrod Super Sport Pearl or Screamin Banshee?????
68 Rubber Ball for Spares (Oldie... Not Storm I know)

Passion and Vertigo's Im getting with 1-2 pins (2.5-3 Top)
Pyro, Super Sport Pearl or Screamin Banshee, and Fired Up with 3-4 pins (2-3 Top)
Ace, Flash Force, Hotrod Hybrid with 2-3 pins (3-4 Top)

I throw around 16.5 mph and I have switched to 14's, so I get a good amount of hand in the ball. Any certain way I should drill any of these? I was thinking a few label, stacked, pin under ring and pin above ring, and I dont know what else lol. I know a couple of these might be discontinued, but I know where to get them from. Let me know ALL thoughts and oppions, thanks!
Mike

Lol... My mom said I was stupid for throwing Storm out the door and trying other things. A guy I know has almost identical specs as me and he let me use his Pyro right after he got it drilled. Went front 9, left the bucket, and only got 2 out of that. I love Storm. It matches up with me well and I know I dont need that many balls, but Im going to get deep and serious with it this fall and I dont plan on looking back! Go Storm!!!

1. I would say on a Passion, if that will be your most reactive ball, go with a stronger layout on label.....
2. With your Flash Force I would try out a ThunderStuck....Might be a good idea unless you have a had a F-F
3. Hot Rods and Banshee-Look into the Jolt's as they are also coming soon...Unless you have had experiece with the H-R and Banshee....
4. Drill layouts I would say give your most reactive ball and strong layout and go weaker with every step down creating a good transition between balls.
5. Welcome to Team Storm!
