Title: HELP!
Post by: flickerooni on March 19, 2005, 04:06:35 PM
My Flash Flood is drilled with the pin at the right of the ring finger, just a bit higher up. Is this drilling for no hook? Is this the reason my ball is pathetically straight unless I do really slow bowling/ bowl on really dry lanes?
please help me & tell me what I should do if there is other alternative other than to re-plug

Where is the CG and what is the pin position from CG (length)?

In general this is not a big hook ball, but has excellent traction is oil.

Sounds like its drilled to go long then hook.  So if there is a lot of oil or carry down i can see it not hooking.

Sounds like a lack of side rotation, revs, or too much speed.

Take a lesson from a good coach.

Let me know what part of the country you live in and I will try to find you a good coach.

How far is the pin from your axis?
What is your axis point?

I do side rotation, people say I'm cranking (but i can't even make my balls hook) My driller said that my track is too high... can that be the reason?
I'm in Singapore! & my coach is Ronnie (who is supposed to be 1 of the better coaches, but I seriously don't think so)
About the CG & axis, I got to check it again...
