HELP MASS CONFUSION
« on: January 14, 2019, 11:19:43 AM »
After 3/4 of a bowling season winding down for me and after playing around with Motiv, 900 Global and Roto/Storm I have come back to the company I have matched well with.

 Current arsenal:

Dream Big 900 Global (not bad just ehh)
Roto Grip P/O/W
Teal Rhino Pro Circa 1994 which still has life (great for the burn and light and spares)

Looking to cover that Medium, Medium/Heavy Condition to replace the Dream Big.  I have been recommended the Code X, the Phase II the Hyroad Nano, the Hyroad X, the IDOL, Winer Solid, Hustle HYB

Now I am really confused.

Handling confusion is the big value add of a good pro shop operator.  Ask around who is the best in your area if don't already have one and ask her/him.  They can get your stats and needs and do better than a bunch of staffers on here trying to upsell you.
Here today.  Gone tomorrow.

The Dream Big may actually be Storm poured, I don't remember the timeline of when the San Antonio upgrades were completed.

The Physix and Crux Prime would be closest from the current line

Like was suggested above, your best bet might be going to someone that has seen you bowl and knows the conditions you're dealing with

Thanks, going to be visiting Star Pro Shop this week in Addison since they did sell me the P/O/W and actually saved me money on buying the Dream Big over the IDOL since Lynn had a killer deal on old stock inventory.  The Dream Big is ok, just don't have enough oil to use it in any house I see.

That makes a big difference for your post. If there's not enough oil for that you should probably look towards the Winner Solid or HyRoad X with the shine knocked off if you want something above the POW

Big was Storm poured.

And I used to work at Star Pro Shop back in the 90s! Is George still there or has he just given it to Lynn?

I believe George gave Lynn full control a few years ago

I have not seen George there in a while, probably when my father had his last ball drilled there in 2000 a Danger Zone Red Alert!

They really do a nice job over there and really look for what is best for you and not about selling the latest and greatest high hooking ball on the plant for $230 bucks.

When I picked up the POW everybody wanted either a Blue Hammer Urethane or Pitch Balck because they saw the PBA guys using them in the team challenge and I witessed Lynn heing brutally honest with a few customers saying I would be more than happy to take your money but you willnot se this ball one bit....
