I just can't get my Hy-Road to turn the corner anymore.
I did REALLY WELL with it when I got it, throwing between 2-3 arrow out to 5 board and have come "Storming" back and crush the pins.
This season, our center has changed it's oil pattern a little, more overall, a foot longer. The shot is more outside now.
I take care of my ball really well, but can't find a surface that works. It seems to be missing the mid-lane that made it so good, and the pop in the backend.
Tried 2000, 2000 w/polish, 4000, and back to the box finish.
Any suggestions?

Have you tried oil extraction??

Oil extraction is a great idea, but hand-in-hand is a proper resurface. Take it down to 500 then skip to your desired finish (i.e. 2000, 4000, or some shine).

I am going to try some oil extaction.
I did get a really good re-surface less than 20 games ago.
I've had good success using 600 grit sandpaper, then going right to Storm Step 2.
Hopefully that will help.
Thanks!

Yeah, sounds like an oil extraction is needed. Take the surface down first, then get the oil out, then bring it to the surface you like. Did that to my Attitude & it's back to life.

Definately oil extraction. I had this same problem with my Hyroad. I tried it at everything then took it back and couldn't get it to work. So I did a resurface and oil extraction. Then hit it with a grey scotch brite (800). Then put storm reacta shine on it. Since then I have loved that ball, it is great. Don't forget, A foot extra of oil is more than you think., it definately plays some of the problem, but an oil extraction will definately help.
