Help with my arsenal
« on: May 15, 2003, 04:18:12 AM »
Hey there I just picked up a x-factor to go with my
Response
Duece
Lrg
Too Hot
Blue hot
Spare
Ultra Hot maybe on the way.
A friend at a pro shop owes me a mid price ball I was thinking of drilling either a Eraser Particle Pearl or a erase it or maybe add a little money to it and get another ER because that is one of my all time favorit ball. Please let me know what you think would be better and that thanks for all of the help. Also would a Ultra Hot be the best ball for something between a EPP, EI, or ER which everone I get and a Too Hot? Please let me know.

Mike, here is a modified list of the balls you listed in your post,...I added the ones I thought would fit the best bolded with the ones you already have. I also tried to put them in order from heaviest to lightest. Depending on the drilling and the conditions you usually see, I can't see why you coulnd't cover everything with this list.  You may want to consider a control ball for real tough conditions such as a Tour Power (before they're all gone!) On the other hand, you could use your LRG as a control ball as well, it depends on your style and such....

I don't think you need an ER, it would butt-heads with the Duece too much unless you drilled it to get a different look than the Duece...good luck!

so then you think that I should try the Eraser Particle Pearl and I have my LRG with a 4-4.5 pin set up about and a bit to the right of the ring and the cg is stright down it rolls reall smooth with a good backend. sound like a control ball to you?
