How many are in support of a RE-release of the Paradigm?
« on: August 01, 2012, 11:33:25 AM »
The ball was a gem. Besides it's cracking issues, the ball was hands down beautiful in it's reaction shape and what it provided core/cover wise. If the 3 I had owned hadn't cracked out, I would still be throwing it today. How many supporters can we get to rerelease a batch of these? I'm willing to pay the $160 price point that Storm sells by now. Anyone else out there feel the same way?

Storm still sells overseas balls with this core. There is a single drill Domination Nano on eBay right now. (not mine)

I agree with you on re-issue of this core stateside. I love my Domination.

I know a lot of people who loved that ball.  One guy I bowled with, went though about 4 of them.  Unfortunately I think they cracked very easily.  I seem to recall some people saying it was a filler issue.  You never know with rumors, but pretty much every one of my friends Paradigms cracked around the fingers and only got worse with time.  I am not sure that that cover material was used in many balls, other that the 2 or 3 in that line.  Im sure someone more familiar with Storm products can probably answer that.  I would be in favor of the remake.

+ 1 on the remake.  Mine craked as well.  I picked up an undrilled a few months ago.  Have it put away :)  Only problem is that it's a light 15.  I want to drill it, but can't bring myself to do it.

Well Storm22, since it is a LIGHT 15, I would gladly take it off of your hands and gladly be considered "lightweight." :)

Yes because there is just no way you can strike with the balls they have out now....I mean without this ball bowling is just too difficult.

I always wanted to try the Domination, but I would support a re-release. I'm starting to contemplate a Track/Storm arsenal.

I would like to see the whole line released again. My vote goes to the Domination though. I own 2 of these and both stay in my bag as they are drilled differently. I've never had any cracking issues with this ball. I love it. Starts strong and finishes strong. I'd give up my nib Nano Pearl for an nib Domination.

I understand the re-release idea.  Your favorite ball needs to come back since you really matched up well with it and/or you loved that roll and it doesn't seem to be reproduced in anything they make today.  I think the roll on the RAD balls from the original X Factor all the way to the Paradigm Domination may be even harder to reproduce with other weight blocks.  Personally the ball in that family I miss the most was the X Factor Ace.

The problem with re-releases is they rarely work out for the manufacturer.  As Cobolt Bomb mentioned Storm does use the RAD weight blocks in some overseas balls so it is more likely to convince Storm to put out a new ball using a newer coverstock with a RAD core.

I would like to see the Domination re-released... the strong motor with the milder Reactor Pearl cover was ingenious. Best skid/flip ball at the time.

Any pearl cover with the RAD+ core is fine by me!

Russ... I will assume you were joking...lol
But just in case you were not...The bowler I know that  shot 869 with the Marvel Pearl will be feeling REAL bad that he didn't use that ball...And that 845 he shot with the Frantic...wow, if he only knew about that ball...lol

And an 836 with still another Storm ball...

11 honor scores in all last season...

Man if he only knew about that ball... ;D

Gentlemen, let that ball R.I.P.
