How do the two compare? Thinking about buying a fully plugged Victory Road Pearl. The Hy-Road Pearl seems to roll well for me especially when the pin is aroun 4-4.5 inches from PAP. At the moment, I do not have a Hy-Road Pearl drilled so I decided to see if it was worth getting this Victory Road Solid while I have a chance.

Victory Road should hook more and harder than the HyRoad Pearl. Both get reasonably long. Much higher differential on Victory.Compare the specs as it's always in the numbers:
Victory Road
Cover: R2S Pearl
RG: 2.53
Diff: .055
HyRoad Pearl
Cover: R2S Pearl
RG: 2.57
Diff: .046

When the Victory Road pearl was released, it was one of the most angular balls Storm ever produced. It will go a bit longer than the Hy-Road pearl and have a sharper backend. Also keep in mind that the diff is much higher.

Wait I thought the RG was 2.56 in 15 lbs. Are you sure that's not the 16 lb numbers?
And now I'm a little worried. Does that mean that it's unpredictable? I thought people liked it because it was a ball that created more angle than the Hy-Road but still had that predictable move off the end of the pattern.
