Intense HI-SP video
« on: September 28, 2017, 07:08:48 AM »
This was put up a few days ago, always love watching Akio bowl.  Doesn't do anything special, but he's just such a smart bowler.  May not be able to understand a word they're saying, but I can always trust watching Akio throwing the ball to give me a crystal clear picture of how something reacts.

I agree, and I feel my game is similar to his. Makes it easy to see how the balls are going to react for me.

Very consistent bowler. Very repeatable style. Same layout as usual 4 x 4 x 2. I always wonder what the hell they're saying lol

I've always wondered though... How similar is the shot they use relative to what we see in the states? I've heard it's very light on oil, but I really don't know. Anyone know the answer?

I'm not sure, I think that was just a widely believed rumor.  "The overseas markets get different equipment because their conditions are drier."  I'm inclined to believe that was never true.  Somebody probably went overseas and bowled somewhere and it happened to be dry, so this whole theory got started and the rumor spread.  If it wasn't similar, the ball reaction would be horrible.  Almost looks like they have more oil, I can never play as far right as they play in the videos with the same equipment.
