I like that color scheme. Looks like a new solid cover too. Will be interesting to see how it compares to the Alpha Crux.
-
Meh.... Was hoping for something from storm but this doesn't have my attention a bit
-
The Catalyst core is coming back? Did the agreement with Mo end?
-
I just decided this past week to replace my Alpha Crux as it was just too used to be a top end ball anymore, and with this coming out I think I'm set.

I wanted to say it was fine and ok since the alpha. The issue was between the pearl and the alpha release....hence the longer gap. Now you're just appeasing the pba pros many prefer this core over the lock and halo balls I'm sure... We're due for a solid hyper cell again... 😂😂😂
-
WTF? I was hoping for another ball with the Physix core. ..... a pearl perhaps.

just wait a few more months for that one
-
Yeah aside from the text actually saying, this screams PBA gear for the start of this jam packed 2019 season. I won’t personally see conditions I can use it on enough to warrant its purchase.
-
Crux line again...WTF. That’s surprises me! Not complaining.
-
"The design almost every Storm PBA tour player was demanding to be brought back."
Rarely has a ball company been so honest about the intended market segment ;D
-
You will see a TON of these things on tour and at USBCs.
-
So glad! I saw Alpha's everywhere the last 2.5 years. And the pros have them for all the big tournaments on tour.
-
Would this ball be stronger than the Surelock or a step below or its equal ? I missed out on the Alpha Crux and the Crux so I don't want to let this one slid by if it could be all that. Thx

Don't know yet. The SPEC coverstock is brand new. Maybe Luke has some insight. Otherwise it's wait-and-see. My guess is that it won't be an Alpha Crux clone even though that's what most actually want.

The above link shows a lot, ball is going to be quite a bit stronger than the PhysiX, which is quite strong to begin with.

The Sure Lock is discontinued, so I’m assuming it’ll be stronger
-
i wonder how it compares to the overseas power lock.

Tamer Bowling has a Video up of the Prime
-
Before I saw video, I was taking the side that it would not be stronger than the Sure Lock. My opinion has not changed. It appears to be a ball that is about reading the lanes the right way front to back on fresh conditions. Plenty of balls cover more boards and look flashy, but not many can beat the true read that the Catalyst series has flashed. The cover tech will just improve durability and performance (to prevent issues seen on heavier oil patterns). Either way, I'm really excited for this ball.

I thought storm weren’t allowed to use the Catalast Core anymore? What’s changed for them to be able to use it again?
-
Mostly internet rumors not being true.
-
Lukes video is up for the Prime..
A lot of good info there as always

Luke said the patten run out in November..So they could use it again.

Hopefully we get to see some of these going down the lane in Lubbock this week...
