I wanted to say it was fine and ok since the alpha. The issue was between the pearl and the alpha release....hence the longer gap. Now you're just appeasing the pba pros many prefer this core over the lock and halo balls I'm sure... We're due for a solid hyper cell again... 😂😂😂

Don't know yet. The SPEC coverstock is brand new. Maybe Luke has some insight. Otherwise it's wait-and-see. My guess is that it won't be an Alpha Crux clone even though that's what most actually want.

The above link shows a lot, ball is going to be quite a bit stronger than the PhysiX, which is quite strong to begin with.

The Sure Lock is discontinued, so Iâ€™m assuming itâ€™ll be stronger

Post by: 2handedrook12 on January 05, 2019, 12:49:18 PM: Before I saw video, I was taking the side that it would not be stronger than the Sure Lock. My opinion has not changed. It appears to be a ball that is about reading the lanes the right way front to back on fresh conditions. Plenty of balls cover more boards and look flashy, but not many can beat the true read that the Catalyst series has flashed. The cover tech will just improve durability and performance (to prevent issues seen on heavier oil patterns). Either way, I'm really excited for this ball.
