I am a 15-16mph tweener, revs about 300. My natural roll is a high track with about a 30* rotation, though I can increase that rotation with more or less ease. The house I bowl in recently changed its oil pattern to "heighten its wall," so to speak--plenty of oil in the middle and barely 3 units from 10 on out. Been playing bumper bowling more than I like and getting over/under. I only like over/under in a shotgun--average taking a beating.
Been considering an Invasion to play a breakpoint at about 5-10 past the "wall." Originally thought to drill it stacked, or about 4x4x2, but have been reading about Invasions burning up on strong drills. Is this a reasonable plan? Should I get a "weaker" ball, such as a VG? Thanks for any responses.
Sorry for yet another drill question. I looked for more relevant information in the forum, but didn't find it.

What other balls do you have right now? You could try a virtual energy if you don't already have one and do a 5 x 5 x 2 inch pin buffer to play just inside of the hook spot. I guess you could try an invasion and do at least a 5 x 5 or 4 1/2 x 2 inch pin buffer, but you would have to put some polish on it.

Bowling is fun, enjoy it, don't hate it

the invasion is going to need alot of oil.. I would suggest a reign of fire.. this is a really good ball, stronger then everyone thinks and it will be $50-$60 cheaper..

I think the ROF is a better option for what your looking to do.
