IQ Tour Emerald Surface Question?

I just got an IQ Emerald drilled up as a control piece for league where the lanes are playing very dry. I am not one who generally likes Storm/Roto 1500 polish. Cant decide whether to alter or give it a try. Any input is appreciated. Have the IQ drilled 55 x 4 x75. Thank you

I keep mine at a used 2000 for about everything.  Same as I did with the gold one....
