Title: IQ tour Pearl
Post by: Polish_Hammer on February 03, 2019, 05:05:26 PM
I have loved my 1-2 punch of the iq tour edition and iq tour pearl. But my IQ tour pearl is now cracked and with it discontinued am in need of a replacement.   Does anyone know what replaced the IQ tour pearl?

They won’t be gold but there are some overseas iq tours that are the same ball with different color scheme. Just have to pay more lol

In my opinion, just save the money and drill a Hyroad Pearl with a high VAL angle “pin down”

Maybe I’m misguided but isn’t the SonIQ basically the same thing?  Both are R2S pearl and the c3 core?

Although they appear to have different Diff. and RG

My buddy replaced his iq tour 30 with a soniq and loves it.

He wanted a little more off the spot, and it is exactly that, while still having that IQ motion.

Some good options have been mention. I feel the Venom Cobra is pretty close. A little smoother. The Venom Shock Pearl is slight longer than the IQ Tour imo.

Thanks folks.  I think the Soniq it is.  Asked the folks at Storm and that is the ball they say is the replacement for the IQ tour Pearl.

You could always polish the heck out of a tour iq solid with a weaker pin. They take to surface adjustments well. Shiny with a weak pin, the solids can be real long and a bit flippy like a pearl. Keep one box, and one polished, you have two different pieces with different motions.
