If you're looking for a ball from Storm for light oil, you'd probably want to go with either the Jolt Pearl or a Tropical Storm.  Both the T-Struck Pearl and especially the Rapid Fire are going to be WAY too strong to be useful in light oil.

Do what I'm gonna do for lighter stuff: Go to Roto Grip and get a Neptune. You know you've always wanted to buy a planet

I actually just asked my pro shop guy about a Neptune and it was backordered for at least 3 weeks. Talk about a big seller

The Nighthawk Pearl is one of the smoothest pearls on the market today. I would consider a medium to medium light pearl and it is not a cheap ball. The colors are the coolest mix around. I put up some big numbers with that ball on more broken down patterns. Dont sell some of AMF balls short.

You've got to consider that xxxxx MR 300 has a pretty strong arsenal of Special Agent & Secret Agent for heavy and medium oil. If those balls get used on mediums then perhaps we might want to advise some stronger options for light oil. Of course it really depends on exactly how 'light oil' you are talking...

The Rapid Fire will only be a little weaker than what you have but the Thunderstruck Pearl might be a good choice. Its likely balls like Jolts and Tropical will be too weak compared to what you are used to bowling with, although if you are on a REALLY dry lane you might see some use for them. I would advise looking at Thunderstruck Pearl and T-Road Pearl given what you are already using. Depending on the surface finishes of what you have already, you might see use from Thunderstruck Solid or even Rapid Fire as weaker options. These balls wont give you much coverage of very light oil conditions, but balls that most people would suggest for those kind of conditions will leave big holes in your arsenal.

Best advice as always is to talk to your ball driller who drilled the Special/Secret for you.
