Hmmmm, I guess one could say that particular Storm is over and has passed?

It was stated somewhere that the Dark Thunder was to be a very limited offering by Storm.

I'm told there are some out west. I'm in Tennessee and we had to order mine from Las Vegas. My pro told me it's the old Thunder Storm core inside the Atomic Charge coverstock, basically. I should have one here by Wednesday.

He told me the original manufacturing run was only 1,500 balls. All I know is I'm chomping at the bit to get it. I still have an original Thunder Storm that has to be 10 years old at least, and it goes with me to league every night.

I have one on the way too.Bowling This Month is doing a review on it in the December issue.I was just wondering why they pulled it from the web site.I can only guess it has more interest than they thought and are waiting for a bigger run so they can release it nationally. When it was on the web I punched in my stats on the ball selector and it came up Dark Thunder. Now it comes up Ace.

I was told a private company paid Storm to make the first run. I would assume that means Storm gets a cut of the profits as does the company that gambled on there being interest in the ball. I also think if it's starting to get pulled from everywhere that Storm is now considering a broader release. The original Thunder Storm was one of the best balls I've ever thrown and IMO was one of the best balls Storm ever produced.

If it's not on Storm's current ball list, then it should be in the Archive Section, just below the currents. SO, I'd say Storm either made a mistake or they didn't get to moving it to the Archive Section yet.
