Which is stronger Lock or the Warrior Elite?  Also by how many boards?

Better question is how do they roll.  Lock is very strong and continuous even when polished.  It seems to get into a strong end over end roll very easily which I like.  Don't know anything about the Warrior.  If you measure strength in terms of the core, you cant get much stronger than the low rg asymmetric core in the Lock.  If you measure it by cover, there are dozens of balls out there that have more cover strength than anyone can ever make use of.

Looking at the numbers looks like the warrior  core numbers  are stronger  and the Lock may have a lil more midlane because of surface prep but should be close in overall hook

I can't compare, but what I can tell you is the Lock is very consistent. It so smooth and IMO, easy to make lane adjustments. I believe this has been one of the best rolling balls I have had. Maybe you could go to to a Storm/Roto ball matchmaker event, if you have one in your area?

Everything doesn't roll the same for everyone else, do not limit yourself just because it rolls good for someone else don't mean it will for you,I bought one just to see what the hype was and for me it was too much over under there are alot of strong balls out in my opinion better I got rid of mine and I have seen alot of others on ebay for sale so that should tell you something,if u want try to find a used one and see  if it rolls good for you before spending alot of $ on a ball just because it rolls good for someone else you will be disappointed like I was

lbss831 makes a good point here with not limiting yourself based on how a ball rolls or any of the hype.  My own take on this is that I think the Lock and original Paradox are more of the closer comparison based on the core, cover type, and overall intention of what the ball is going to do.  I didn't purchase a Lock but know a few that are rolling it and love it.  I also know 1 person that hated it.  Same with the Paradox- I really like what mine has done, some don't like theirs.

In the end, it really does come down to preference and what will work best for your game.  An option is that you could always go to a Storm/Roto matchmaker event to try it first hand before buying.  Or, you could always buy a single drill and that way you're not having to shell out the full cost for the ball NIB.  I'd also suggest the same with the EBI Demo Day, where you can try the Warrior Elite, Paradox, and other similar balls as well.  But finally, talk with your PSO as they should know your game and they can always provide feedback on a possible purchase.

I agree if you can find a demo try that or find a used one and also stated there are alot of companies putting out good equipment I had both the Lock and Paradox  and for me my Paradox out performed my Lock also you have alot other cheaper options as you see what Rotogrip is doing they are putting strong balls in low end market I buy alot of balls and for the price the Critical  and Haywire  is a good choice  but thats my opinion, Brunswick is putting out alot of good choices as well with there Radical and DV8  brand so you don't have to spend that high performance price now to get what you want and companies are finally  seeing that with the market with making the low end balls to match up with the high performance lines

the core numbers at 15lbs are very similar.  the differences are likely to be how do they roll and how they match up.

I have a lock; still at the OOB 3000 grit finish and I love it.  bowling on a 45 foot heavy WTBA pattern and the ball is very good and consistent.

Never thrown a warrior elite, nor do I think anyone in my league does, so cant comment on that.

it all comes down to which one you match up with better; but both balls have pretty much the same potential to get the job done.
