Storm Marvel

- COLOR: Teal/Sky Blue/Black
- COVERSTOCK: R2X Solid Reactive
- CORE: Centripetal
- FACTORY FINISH: 2000-grit Abralon

Looking at the success of the original Virtual Gravityâ„¢, it‟s clear that bowlers love to see a strong midlane roll that doesn‟t quit on the backend, so that is our goal!

Indeed, in the area I bowl in the 14# ball is the most common weight used, with the 16 pounder almost obsolete. The guys that bowl 3 or 4 leagues use 15 lbs.

How does bowling.com post this before stormbowling.com does?

"Yanker: How does bowling.com post this before stormbowling.com does?"

Easy, Storm is clearing out old inventory and has a release date - Bowling.Com, Bowlingball.com etc. know the release date but want to get pre-release sales. You will notice that other Storm sellers already have the information as well - though I haven't seen any yet that have images of the cores, likely wasn't in the first info release - they all got the same info.

Okay, now that I have seen what the core looks like on the Victory Road I can offer my 2-cents worth.

In the past the versions of this core that have had the denser part of the weight block higher in the ball have had more angular backend reactions. The lower position as seen in the Hy-Road produces a more continuos arc to the pocket.

The ball reaction should be more like that seen in the RotoGrip Nomad series rather than what you see in the Hy-Road.

While this is nice and all...I want to see an R2X pearl coverstock on the new Centripetal core, or maybe even the CAM core.  And I mean pearl, none of this additive crap like the 2nd Dimension and/or Prodigy.

R2X Pearl > all others. Ever.

I might try a Marvel, but probably not a Victory Road.  The Victory Road will be too skid/flippy for my game.
