Lucid vs Intense vs No Rules Pearl
« on: September 27, 2017, 12:34:47 PM »
It's a bit early for reports on the Intense, but I want to include it anyways. Assuming the same surface, how do these compare? The No Rules Pearl has been out for a while now and it seems to be the strongest pearl on the market. Lucid was quite a rolly pearl and in my opinion, was better suited for a one ball to those that have a higher rev and speed combo. Thoughts?
League: Pitch Purple, Destiny Magenta

I've seen a lot of video on the Intense.  It looks like a super strong Punch Out, just a really heavy rolling chuggy pearl.  The information they'd been sharing suggested long and strong, but it looks like it's going to be earlier and smoother than the No Rules Pearl, plus Chad McLean, Storm's Technical Director said that exact thing a couple days ago.

So more along the lines of the Snap Lock then?

Maybe, but blending the transition better and not standing up on friction.  It looks to me like a really strong asym Punch Out.

Yeah so I definitely expected a hybrid Phaze, hybrid Torrent, or pearl Torrent before the Intense type ball release.

Lol what's funny is those three balls you mentioned are all totally different.  Code Black really early but clean, Snap Lock revs really strong all the way down the lane and then kind of stands up on friction, Intense is going to be directly in between I think.
