Marvel Pearl or IQ Tour Solid?

Currently using:

Money Badger Tour (4x4x2)
Axiom Pearl (4x4x2)
**spot to fill**

Marvel Pearl (4x4x2) or IQ Tour Solid (pin under ring)?

While I do not know which is actually better for you; I am of the opinion that one can not go wrong with an IQ Tour in the bag

My instincts say IQ Tour, but I have seen that Marvel Pearl do wonders.....and marvels!

Different looks.  IQ is a bit smother.  Marvel pearl is stronger off the breakpoint When you move in

Both of those balls are really good, the Marvel Pearl a bit better as lanes transition and start hooking more, the IQ Tour is awesome on the fresh and staying out of trouble.

But bigger question I have, are either of those two that different than the other two balls in your bag? I'd probably be looking at something even weaker for when lanes really start hooking instead, but if you just bowl league in a house that's consistent, you probably don't need that piece.

My big concern is the amount of separation between the Axiom Pear and Marvel Pearl.  I've been told that there is a significant difference, but enough to warrant them in the same bag?  I like the IQ in the bag in case outsides get fairly toasted.

If I was traveling to a tournament I wouldn't even hesitate to add both to the bag, but for league I only take 3 + spare ball.

Both! MBT and IQ Tour are an amazing 1-2 solid ball punch!! Like, that's genius and I'm sad I never did that, lol. I'd have the IQ Tour at 2 or 3k instead of 4, just to get it in play more frequently.

Then I'd have the Axiom and Marvel Pearls at similar layouts with slightly different surfaces. Since Axiom is 4 inch pin to PAP, I'd go 5x2x2 for the Marvel Pearl.

You will probably get more use out of a Marvel Pearl, but when you need something to grind on a tough condition you’ll wish you had an IQ Tour. I personally think there id a significant difference between the Axiom Pearl and Marvel Pearl where the MP is a great transition ball but definitely needs friction to shape properly the AP is much earlier and stronger in oil.
