Ball question
« on: May 13, 2009, 07:50:07 PM »
If a bowler plays a straighter line, more like down and in 7 board. Which is a more suitable ball for him for heavy oil ?
Virtual Gravity ?
Dimension ?
T Road Solid ?
or a Hy-road ?

Thanks for your suggestion.....

I'd go with the virtual. I've seen guys throw this, with surface changes, on everything from ths to heavy stuff. They all like it.

I would say the Dimension, Rogue Cell, or the original Cell.

If your not talking about a house shot i'd say the Dimension. That ball has some very heavy roll and really cuts through oil. The Virtual on really heavy oil tends to be more squirty do the nature of the core getting the ball to push down the lane further, both balls though can be made to work well though with correct surface prep and layout.

If it has to be Storm, the Virtual. However, for me, it didn't come alive until I changed the surface to 2000 abralon. I have around 250-275 RPM, and it is a great ball to use on heavier oil playing up the outside.
