Virtual Energy Review
« on: September 19, 2009, 06:52:03 AM »
I laid out my Virtual Energy similar to the Shift I used in Reno in 2007.  The pin is 4 1/2 from my PAP and the CG is 3 1/2.  The Key is 4 from my PAP with and extra hole on my PAP.  On the fresh, I had to make sure to get around the ball or it would react too quickly off of the dry and not recover.  As long as I got around it, I could keep moving left and just bank it off of the spot down the lane.  The ball has the same crisp sound when hitting the pins as the Virtual Gravity does.  As the condition carried down, I could come up the back of the ball and stay in the same part of the lane.  The VE hooked sooner than my Reign with the same total boards covered on the house condtions, both synthetics and wood.  When I compared the VE to my VG that is polished, I got more length out of the VE and a stronger change of direction.  Having the VE will allow me to take the VG back to the out of box surface to use at the Bradley this year.  The Virtual Energy is a beautifull ball to look at and its reaction matches that beauty.
