Double Agent, Thunderstruck Pearl Question
« on: November 01, 2008, 08:11:31 AM »
Hey everyone, I got the Thunderstruck pearl OOB conditions and ended up being a bit more powerful than I thought. Right now I had some polished added to the double agent from before to change the surface. The hook potential is pretty similar for both so obviosly that is not doing me any good.

The thunderstruck is a bit too powerful on some of the late night dryer conditions I bowl on. Would polishing that up to 3000/4000 grit polish give it more length. I'd say i want to knock 4/5 boards of hook off it.

The double agent I was thinking of taking back closer to stock(1000 grit Abralon) In fresh oil the ball hooks well, but i'm looking to get it a bit "smoother" from when I first got it, something I can control and play the middle of the lane with in the oil.

Do I have the wrong thinking surface wise? Any suggestions would be great! I just started bowling after a 12 month break, so a bit rusty!

hit the thunderstruck with 4000 and put a light/medium coat of polish on it. thats where mine is and it works very well.
