New Release?
« on: March 13, 2005, 05:21:11 PM »
I know it's still early, though usually we hear about any new releases from storm by now (Though they usually come out a month after the first word). Is there anything in the next month, 2 months? Thanks...

These are the latest Storm releases Approved by USBC. (ABC)
Sounds like mostly Overseas stuff or a new line here in the US?

That's classic!  But are they seriously going to?

I think we might see a retro theme coming up. wait to see the results of how succesful track is in bringing back the heat to see more old balls made new again.

If storm had HALF a brain they would see the demand for too hots and BRING THEM BACK!  I can't understand their thinking, I know the hot rod was supposed to make me feel better, but no I want the real thing

It would be nice to see a bach of older balls be remade by ball manufacturers.  While the newer balls work great on the various conditions, there are times were the weaker coverstocks would be nice to have around.  I still throw my Lightning Flash and love the ball.  I would still be throwing the Too Hot, but ball has too many games on it and I drop'd weights.

It's been two weeks since I posted this and still nothing has surfaced. I would do anything for a Core Power LRG remake, and I know others who would also...

Storm has three releases lined up for May.  2 of which I believe are in the Master series and one for the midpriced line.

In addition to what Chris said, the guys at the TOC were throwing Triple X Factors made with Accutread SFA as opposed to Monsoon.  They looked like monsters.  Way more bite and backend.  The balls have a ton more red in them.  Also look for the original X's to be re-released this fall...

More bite than the Triple X Factor and the Ace?
Should people who need more bite really be "bowling"? Is what they do really called bowling?

I'd love to see Storm bring back some of the old control balls, like the Blue Hot Flame and the Bolt Pro. Every ball they make now flares 10 freaking inches.
