Title: New Storm ad
Post by: Storm900 on November 06, 2009, 06:43:02 AM
Hey, I just saw the new Storm ad in November Bowler''s Journal.  It looked like an ad for the Reign on the bottom. But on the top there was some weird information about a biomechanical engineering company with some red marker scribbled on the picture. Anybody know what that is all about?

I don't think the top ad with the red marker is one of Storm's ads. The PBA message board had several folks comment on this and Storm was never brought up. The main concern was the lack of proof reading by BJ.

My take on the whole thing is this... why would a non-bowling related company advertise in a bowling magazine?  WTF?? I swear is nothing sacred anymore!!!  It's bad enough that we get spammed for viagra all day long and now biomechanical engineering??

I saw the ad and they are making a pretty bold statement, and the whole thing (including the red psycho scribble) is all kinda scary to be honest.  We have all read about stem cell research and genetics and such, but as far as Im concerned, any one who plays God will have to deal with God.

Sorry to rant folks... just a little peeved.

IMO
the top ad is a goof. it's as if someone is saying "look at this company, it sucks." and then the storm ad is saying 'no quality issues here. we make the best"
