question on drill pattern

i am putting this here storm and everywhere i might get a good response.  i was wanting to find a good storm ball and mosr so than a ball what type of pattern and ball combo or just drill pattern can be used to get a good hook sit reaction out of a ball.  not a hook die but a hook then stop but still have power to the pocket and i know that u can find some this way i have seen other people on here talk about drilling this way but not mention a pattern i need it for either med- heavy med or med light.

Hey Stormerjip.... good question and this is the type of shot more pros utilize than the rest of us amateurs.. The best way to get this reaction is to use a layout with the pin closer to the axis, say 1 1/2 - 2 inches. It would also be a good idea to use a ball with a solid coverstock....the Core Power LRG would be a great ball for this type of ball reaction....

You should also focus on getting more forward roll. Try to get more lift from your middle finger and really drive your hand up the back of the ball.
