So what's the difference between the Polar Ice series and the Mix.
So far I see the same coverstocks, a pearl and a solid, and the same core, but a different name.

Since they're introducing the new Hybrid Polar Ice Blue/Black on May 14th, I can't see them discontinuing the Polar Ice series.

Just wondered if this Mix series is intended for the international market???

I like the colors. Urethane spare ball is where it's at.

I think a replacement for the tropical storm is coming. I believe storm couldn't think of a name for a reactive with "ice" in the name.

Today they discontinued the Tropical Heats so a replacement for those is coming.

Looks like the Mix is/are for the US. Buddies has them up with a WWRD, release date of 7/15/13:

I know the lights out is replacing the tropical heat, but i am talking about the original tropical storm.

The Tropical Breeze line replaced the Tropical Storm line a few years ago.

Exactly what I was thinking.

Are you sure the Lights Out is replacing the Heats? Because it is one tier above the Heats in terms of price point.

Agreed with the price point.  Also I'm surprised the Heats will be going, they're much better in my opinion than the Breezes.  Actually I've been using a Heat Hybrid the last few weeks, and for the my cost on it, it has been a awesome on house shots.

I just drilled a Lights our and Super natural and threw some balls today with them.  The Lights Out for me is comparable to the Frantic just cleaner and more angular.

The tropical breeze is less flippy

The tropical breeze is less flippy

That's a good thing, but the Breeze is still the replacement.
The Breeze is plenty flippy but you don't want a flippy ball on dry lanes, as the lanes provides all the backend you need. You need control on dry lanes, not flip.

The lights out is the same as the heat hybrid black/purple with the exception of the lights out having a slightly stronger cover

I liked to use my tropical storm on medium or light long patterns. With my rev rate being high, balls made for medium oil start too early on a string of strikes. Thats why i was averaging 230 with that ball. Is it possible to make the breeze as flippy as the tropical? Or should i look closer at the misfit pearl?
