Just saw crux pearl and rocket on usbc approved list. Wondering if there is any info on these out there or if they are overseas releases?
-
Found this on facebook. Not sure if its an overseas only release, but it does have a scent and was approved by the USBC, so maybe it will happen here.
-
:O Root Beer scented...I almost want it just for that

I saw it online as well and it is an overseas release, but the word around is that it is going to be released stateside as well.
-
I wonder what the rocket is? It doesn't look state side.
-
I believe the Rocket will be a new Thunder Line piece released world wide
The Crux Pearl (ERG Pearl - 1500 Polish) will be stateside. The Overseas Crux will have the same cover as the Code Blue and IQ Tour Pearl SLE (R3S Pearl)

I'm interested to see what core they'll use. I'd think it'd be something new
-
The Rocket will use a new core with numbers close to the HyRoad. Same cover, R2S hybrid. It should be cleaner with more motion down lane. So think 2014 Hy-Road.

Heard this before, many try, but nothing replaces the Hyroad.

Core numbers actually look closer to a Frantic.
-
Those aren't my words, they are Storms. And as for replacing the Hy-Road, only Storm can try and do it. I wish them luck. Eventually the consumer realizes that "new" is a good thing and not rinse, wash, and repeat.

I know, I wasn't talking about you, moreso Storm.

I'm getting the hyper cell skid, and I know exactly what I'm getting. The crux hasn't tickled my fancy enough to justify a pearl. However.. I have never, ever, ever been able to replace that good ol' cell pearl.
If the crux pearl is good, cool. Hell I got a byte with out enough games on it to warrant a resurface lol. Glad to get the ..skid!
-
Loved my Crux first 20 games then I tried to touch up the surface. It definitely toned down some on the back.
Drilled Skid same way and it's phenomenal! Can't imagine the Crux Pearl being much different but I'll get one anyway haha
-
I see a lot of overlap right now. Like why did they do the sinister, crux and dream on in the same year???? I want a solid dream! Or a solid crux!
-
Now we got a hyper cell pearl and immediately after a crux pearl...I also see rotos no.2 line coming out with a pearl(unhinged) and word on the street is !Q tour pearl next...we dont need 4 pearl releases in row!!!
-
Just sand them. 500/1000 or 500/2000 problem solved
-
Here's the crux pearl in action
-
looks to me that if this ball doesnt see friction. . . .its a dud.
-
similar to a lot of pearl equipment

All balls need friction, some more than others.
-
ill rephrase. . . a distinct friction spot. . . looks like it would be good after game 2
