Thought the ball was a turd. Liked the iq tour and marvel s alot better.  I want to get a tour nano one of these days.  All the ones I've seen look great.

Reception has been either love it or hate it. Same as the Optimus, my teammate literally gave their Optimus and Hyroad Solid to a youth bowler because he thought they was a waste of money on his part.

On the other hand my pro shop operator loves the Hyroad Solid because he says he has a lot of uses for it on sport shots and at tournaments.

It's either a love it or hate it situation from what I've seen.

Didnt think it was very good, too strong in the mids and nowhere near as much board coverage as the hyroad. The T-Road Solid was a lot better than the Hyroad Solid. To me, for the money you're going to spend on the Hyroad Solid, you can add to it and get an IQ Tour or Tour Nano and it'll be a much better ball.

To me, it has a very niche reaction.  It's one of those balls that when it's working, you'll have a look that nobody else will, but it requires some pretty specific conditions.  I think the cover is a little too strong for the core.  It's strong off the dry, but doesn't rev in oil, so for wet/dry house shots it can be a little touchy.  However, it helped make me a few hundred dollars at a tournament a couple weeks ago.  While everyone else in the building was fighting with the game 3 and 4 transition, I was able to stay on top of it because I wasn't getting the over/under everyone else was.  Head burn was forcing everyone else inside, but the track was soft so it was through the nose or washout.  I went to the HRS and stayed right on top of the burn.  No early read, plenty of length, and just enough pop on the back.  Won me a high game pot and kept me in the 8 game Eliminator that I eventually won at the end of the day.  It may not come out of the bag very often, but it's not one that's going to ever get left at home.
