Domination
« on: October 30, 2006, 03:50:41 AM »
Just way too many good stories about this ball...ordered one today...  Any suggestions on a drill pattern?  I used and like some of the drill patterns Pat Patterson used, and they say this is the most aggressive skid flip ball they make...Right now I am thinking of using the same pattern as my Spitfire, I used the same drilling Pat Patterson has a picture of on his review, very angular, and I love it....Domination should be stronger I hope....What does the Storm Nation think?

Storm Rules, now we need some Storm winners on the National tour...

This ball is incredible I drilled it pin under ring finger cg kicked and MB below and to the right of the thumb and this ball gets up and goes lol. I can play deep inside with a puddle and not have to worry about getting to the dry I can keep it tight and inside and I know I will have hook and mine is only 14 lbs. and in 10 games so far I have had no pocket taps and this was at 3 different houses.

jablosa,

I am honored you are using my lay-out on the Spitfire, have you seen my lay-out for the Domination?  I absolutely love this ball, with the lay-out on it.  My avg has gone up substantially since I purchased it (been averaging around 235).  I threw it over the weekend and averaged 232, including a set of 285-267-247=799 in Team Event(struck 30 of 35 times with 2 opens).  Also tossed a 299 last week in league play, the ball just about carries everything and I have noticed I have thrown lots of long strings of strikes(7-8-9-10 baggers).

The marriage of the RAD+ with the Reactor Coverstock is just amazing.

Thanks Pat, I have it, looks like just a small adjustment from the SpitFire... The Spitfire is a monster, can't wait to see what this one does.....  And yes, thanks very much for your hard work with your profile and your pictures..I think are games are similiar, so glad you share your info..  We all no that the wrong drilling on a ball is a waste of money, so glad the Storm nation is great...  Will keep you posted on the scores...

True indeed!!!!  I have mine pin under ring, CG kicked 2", RAD+ right and down with X hole slightly above MB.  Ball gets lovely length and when it sniffs dry... OMG!!!!  It's like a case of whiplash!!!  Haven't touched the cover.  Can't think of a reason why.  Can you?

Yeah I ordered me one today as. I am normally a big Track guy but after the utah record and a local guy shooting 879 out of the box with his I definetly wanted to get this ball a shot.  Hopefully I should have mine here on wednesday

Will let you know when I receive mine.  From what I am seeing, it is even stronger than the spitfire....I will have both, so will keep you posted...

Well, I have 4 games in with this ball in league play now,and all I can say is wow.... I tweaked the drill pattern a little bit from Pat Patterson's collection, thanks for that Pat....I put my pin in my middle finger, to compliment my Spit fire a little better for me....So far, first 4 games...231-237-259-234, not so shabby...carries very nicely.  Now just have to learn the right moment to switch to my Spitfire, and watch out, I am going to have some series...Unbelievable ball...how can anyone throw anything else than Storm...

I'm liking mine. I went over middle with the RAD 1" off my thumb. Clean up front, strong on back. The ball carries hits that I should never carry. Not a lot of games on it yet, and only a game and half in league but started with the front7 and ended 279. Not a bad start with the ball.
