With the releases of the supernatural, freak'n frantic, lights out, marvel-s, and hyroad pearl, what will storm remove? Is the marvel pearl the new virtual gravity in the sense that it provides bowlers with the backend and midlane bowlers love? Is the frantic good enough to stay? Do they keep the natural pearl to have the traditional roll of a urethane? Does the vivid get cut-off due to the marvel-s having the same colors and cover? What happens between the fire road, hy-road, and crossroad?

Not trying to be a dick buy it doesn't matter because before anyone that's not a staffer you won't have time to roll the all the new batch before they are all discontinued. They are all coming out with new stuff so fast that a person that only bowls one league will not buy many before there gone.

Yea i know bit i was just wondering what people's opinions were on this.

Pretty sure the Vivid will go bye bye. With the Sync out they really don't need two top end balls with the same cover.
-
The marvel pearl and VG aren't comparable anyway.

Just going by sales (at least in my area) I could see the Vivid, Fringe, Manic, and the IQ (original) gone. I believe the Manic & Fringe is already on my discontinued list, and the IQ was getting sold pretty cheap a while ago.
The Frantic stays in my opinion as the Freakin compliments it (hybrid vs pearl) not replaces it. I could see a strong pearl in the Premier Line, but every other line is pretty well rounded, again in my opinion.
I think what people fail to realize is Storm generally has the longest shelf life of any other brand.

Anybody a strong believer in the same bowling ball with a different layouts?

Looking at my 3 modern marvels I would have to say yes.
-
You are the first person I've seen with 3 modern marvels. What's their differences? And why do you like this ball so much?
-
One is 40* 4.5" 35* at 2000 abralon that is a monster on long or higher volume patterns. The second is 50* 5 3/8" 65* at 2000 that I can use on multiple patterns. The third is 80* 2" 20* that I love to use on short patterns like Cheetah.
I know by the masses, the modern marvel was not successful. But for me it's the best ball from Storm since the hyroad. I'm a major fan of the core and the hybrid cover.

The Modern matched up for me well also. It was first ball out of the bag for about a 6 week period for me at the start of this past season.

Why did the modern marvel stop being first out of your bag?
